Day 1: Arrival in Dimapur

Arrive at Dimapur railway station or airport and check into your hotel. Once you've freshened up, head out to explore the ancient Kachari Ruins, followed by some time at Dimapur Market, known for goods brought in from Myanmar and China. Overnight stay in Dimapur.

Day 2: Dimapur to Kohima (78 km / approx. 3 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Kohima. Check in and spend the evening at leisure, soaking in the hill-town atmosphere. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 3: Khonoma Village & Kohima War Cemetery

Start the day at the Kohima War Cemetery, a moving tribute to soldiers who gave their lives in World War II. Then head to Khonoma, Nagaland's first green village and home of legendary Naga leader Angami Zapu Phizo. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Kohima.

Day 4: Kohima to Imphal (138 km / approx. 6 hrs)

Drive towards Imphal, stopping en route at the Naga Heritage Village, permanent home of the Hornbill Festival, and passing through Mao, the border town between Nagaland and Manipur. Check in and relax for the rest of the day. Overnight stay in Imphal.

Day 5: Imphal City Tour

A full day exploring Imphal's landmarks — Kangla Fort and Kangla Museum, Govindajee Temple, Mahabali Temple, Imphal Museum, the Second World War Cemeteries, and the famous IMA Market, run entirely by women. Overnight stay in Imphal.

Day 6: Loktak Lake Excursion

Spend the day at Loktak Lake and Sendra Island, followed by a visit to Keibul Lamjao National Park, the only floating national park in the world and last natural home of the endangered Sangai deer. Continue to the INA Museum and the Japanese War Memorial at Red Hill. Overnight stay in Imphal.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Imphal Airport for your onward journey.
