Land in Dimapur, where a Dream Safar representative will receive you and drive you to Kohima. Check into your hotel, relax, and settle in over dinner. Overnight in Kohima.
Spend the morning exploring Kohima — the WWII Memorial and the State Museum are must-visits. Afterward, drive to Khonoma Village, one of Nagaland's most celebrated heritage villages.
A full day to wander Khonoma at your own pace. Talk to the locals, learn how their community lives, and see the village's famous bamboo water system that carries water across long distances. Overnight stay in the village.
Drive on to Touphema village, home to a small museum showcasing traditional Angami jewellery, clothing, and artefacts.
Spend the day with the Angami community — hear their folklore, join guided walks to nearby peaks and paddy fields, and stay in one of Touphema's traditional wooden homes. Warm Angami hospitality included.
Head to Mokokchung, stopping at Wokha, headquarters of the Lotha Naga tribe, for lunch and a short walk around town. Check in and rest on arrival.
Visit Mopungchuket to explore its museum and church, then continue to Longkhum for the stone bridge walk and views over Doyang Lake. Return to Mokokchung for dinner and overnight stay.
An early start takes you to Tuensang, Nagaland's largest district and gateway to Mount Saramati, the state's highest peak. Check into your hotel or homestay and unwind.
Explore the tribal villages around Tuensang, keep an eye out for the Mithun (Nagaland's state animal), and visit the striking monoliths of Longtrok village. Overnight in Tuensang.
Drive to Mon district, home of the Konyak tribe — once feared as headhunters and still known for their distinctive facial tattoos and traditional muzzle-loading guns. Settle into a homestay for the night.
Visit the chief's house in Shangnyu village, then head to Longwa — the village that sits directly on the Indo-Myanmar border. Return to Mon for dinner and overnight stay.

Drive downhill from Mon to Jorhat. Check into your hotel and rest after two weeks on the road.
