Day 1: Guwahati – Bhalukpong

Pick-up from Guwahati Railway Station or Airport, with Arunachal permit formalities handled en route. Arrive at Bhalukpong, check in, and take the evening to stroll through the local market. Overnight at Bhalukpong.

Day 2: Bhalukpong – Dirang

After breakfast, head to Dirang. On the way, stop at the Orchid Research Centre in Tipi, followed by Inner Line Permit formalities at the Bhalukpong gate. Visit the Sherdukpen tribal villages and the Upper Monastery at Bomdila before continuing to Dirang. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 3: Dirang – Tawang via Sela Pass

Drive to Tawang, stopping at the Dirang hot springs, the stunning Sela Pass (13,500 ft) with its pristine Sela Lake, and the Jaswantgarh War Memorial. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 4: PT Tso Lake – Bumla Pass – Madhuri Lake (Optional)

A full day of high-altitude sightseeing by local transport — PT Tso Lake, the historic Bumla Pass on the Indo-China border, and Madhuri Lake, famous for its waterfall and picnic spots. Carry a change of clothes if you plan to get in the water. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 5: Tawang City Tour

Explore Tawang's monastery, war memorial, the birthplace of the 6th Dalai Lama, and the giant Buddha statue. In the evening, catch the Light and Sound show and shop at the local market. Overnight at Tawang.

Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila

Drive to Bomdila, headquarters of West Kameng district, known for sweeping views of snow-capped peaks and its mixed tribal communities. Visit the Lower Gompha and browse the local emporium in the evening. Overnight stay.

Day 7: Bomdila – Guwahati

Return drive to Guwahati. Check in to your hotel with the evening free for personal activities. Overnight at Guwahati.

Day 8: Departure

Check out after breakfast, tour concludes.
