Trip starts from: Kolkata, West Bengal
Pickup from Kolkata by AC vehicle, followed by a scenic drive to Godhkhali. Check into your riverside hotel, enjoy lunch, and head out for a short boat ride through the Sundarban Bird Jungle in time for sunset. The evening winds down with folk dance, snacks, and a cosy bonfire (in winter) before dinner.
An early start for a full day of boat safaris through the reserve's rivers and creeks — Pirkhali, Sudhanyakhali, Gazikhali and more — keeping eyes peeled for tigers, deer, crocodiles and birdlife. Walk the canopy trail at Do-Banki, visit Jharkhali watchtower, and end the day with a Banabibi drama performance before dinner.
A relaxed morning village walk followed by a visit to the historic Hamilton and Tagore bungalows. Board the boat back to the mainland, then drive back to Kolkata with lunch on the way, arriving by early evening.
