An early 4 AM start takes you to Tiger Hill for one of the most beautiful sunrises you'll ever see, with Kanchenjunga glowing gold in the distance. On the way back, stop at Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, continue sightseeing — the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Japanese Peace Pagoda, a tea garden view point, and the Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Centre.
