Day 1: Arrival in Dimapur

Arrive at Dimapur railway station or airport and check in to your hotel. After freshening up, visit the ancient ruins of the Kachari Kingdom, then browse Dimapur's famous market for goods that travel in from Myanmar and China. Overnight in Dimapur.

Day 2: Dimapur to Kohima

After breakfast, drive to Kohima and check in to your hotel. Spend the evening at leisure, taking in your first views of Nagaland's hill capital. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 3: Khonoma Village & Kohima War Cemetery

Visit the Kohima War Cemetery, built in memory of the soldiers who gave their lives in the decisive World War II battles fought here — a quiet, powerful place maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. Later, head to Khonoma Village, about 21 km away, known as Nagaland's first "green village" and the birthplace of the Naga movement. Evening free. Overnight in Kohima.

Day 4: Kohima to Imphal

Drive to Imphal, stopping en route at Naga Heritage Village, the permanent site of the Hornbill Festival, before crossing into Manipur through the Mao border gate. Check in and rest for the evening. Overnight in Imphal.

Day 5: Imphal Local Sightseeing

A day to explore Imphal at your own pace. Overnight in Imphal.

Day 6: Excursion to Loktak Lake

Full-day excursion to Loktak Lake, the largest freshwater lake in northeast India and famous for its floating phumdis (islands of vegetation). Overnight in Imphal.

Day 7: Departure from Imphal

Check out and transfer to Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal, for your onward journey.
