Land in Dimapur, Nagaland's commercial hub and once the capital of the old Dimasa Kachari Kingdom. Spend the day visiting the Kachari Ruins, Science Centre, Green Park, and the Nagaland Zoological Park. Overnight stay in Dimapur.
Drive up to Kohima, the state capital nestled in the Japfu hills and home to the Angami tribe. Visit the Catholic Church, Naga Heritage Village, Kohima War Cemetery, and the Nagaland State Museum. Overnight stay in Kohima.
A short scenic drive brings you to Touphema, a model tourist village built to showcase authentic Naga life. Stay in a traditional bamboo hut, enjoy a community-style meal of local delicacies, and take a leisurely walk through the village soaking in the hillside views.
