Arrive in Kolkata and check into your hotel. Once you've settled in, head out to see Victoria Memorial, take a walk along the Hooghly by the Howrah Bridge, and visit the Dakshineswar Kali Temple. End the day at Belur Math, the peaceful headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission. Overnight stay in Kolkata.
Set off early for Gangasagar — a scenic drive followed by a short ferry ride gets you to Sagar Island. Take a dip at the holy confluence, witness the rituals devotees perform here, and visit the Kapil Muni Temple. Head back to Kolkata by evening for an overnight stay.
