Arrive in Guwahati and settle into your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city along the Brahmaputra River, with visits to Umananda Island and the Assam State Museum. Overnight stay in Guwahati.

Head to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya, surrounded by the scenic Khasi Hills. Visit Elephant Falls, Ward's Lake, and the Don Bosco Museum before checking into your hotel. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Drive to Cherrapunji, known for its record rainfall and breathtaking waterfalls. Explore Nohkalikai Falls, Kynrem Falls, and Thangkharang Park, taking in views across the East Khasi Hills. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

Return to Shillong for a relaxed day covering the remaining local attractions — Police Bazar, Lady Hydari Park, Laitlum Canyon, and the Shillong View Point at Laitkor Peak. Overnight stay in Shillong.

Travel to Kaziranga, a UNESCO World Heritage Site spread across lush grasslands and forests. Enjoy a jungle safari in search of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros and other wildlife. Overnight stay near Kaziranga National Park.
