Board the Shatabdi Express from New Delhi in the morning, with breakfast served on board. Arrive in Amritsar by early afternoon, where our representative will receive you and transfer you to your hotel. In the evening, head to the Wagah Border to witness the electrifying Flag Retreat Ceremony — a display of pride and patriotism from both sides of the India-Pakistan border. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the Golden Temple, the spiritual heart of the Sikh faith. From there, walk through Jallianwala Bagh, a place that holds deep historical significance. Continue to Durgiana Temple, then explore Amritsar's lively old markets, known for their traditional Punjabi juttis and suits. After lunch, visit the Ram Bagh Palace Museum before an evening free for more shopping or simply relaxing. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Head out to a nearby village for a refreshing rural experience — walk through vegetable farms, enjoy a tractor ride, and interact with the friendly locals (a bullock cart ride is available on request).
