Some journeys are about ticking off monuments. This one is about falling in love with India, slowly. Starting in the capital’s chaos and calm, you’ll roll through the marble magic of Agra, the royal forts of Gwalior and Shivpuri, the lakeside charm of Kota and Bundi, the sacred hush of Pushkar, the pink glow of Jaipur, and the painted havelis of Mandawa — before winding back to Delhi with a camera full of memories.
Dream Safar handles the planning, the drives, the hotels, and the little details — you just show up and soak it all in.
*Tour cost is per person on twin-sharing basis and may vary depending on season, hotel category, and group size. Contact Dream Safar for a custom quote.
Land in Delhi and our Dream Safar representative will greet you at the airport for a smooth transfer to your hotel. Take the evening easy — the adventure starts tomorrow.
Spend the morning exploring Delhi's contrasts — the grand Jama Masjid, the buzzing lanes of Chandni Chowk, the towering Qutub Minar, and the iconic India Gate. By afternoon, drive to Agra and check into your hotel.
This is the day you've been waiting for. Step up to the Taj Mahal, the marble monument Emperor Shah Jahan built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal — still one of the most breathtaking sights in the world. Continue to Agra Fort, the Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah, and Akbar's Tomb at Sikandra, then wander through Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar's abandoned capital frozen in red sandstone.
Some time for sightseeing and shopping in Agra before heading to Gwalior, once the seat of the Scindia dynasty. Explore the imposing Gwalior Fort, Man Mandir Palace, Jivaji Rao Scindia Museum, Sas Bahu Temple, and the tombs of Tansen and Mohammad Ghaus.
Drive to Shivpuri, the former summer retreat of the Scindias. Settle into your hotel and spend the day at leisure or exploring nearby sights at your own pace.
Continue to Kota. Once settled, take in the Jagmandir Palace, Chambal Gardens, City Palace & Fort, and the Rao Madho Singh Museum.
A day trip to Bundi, a town that feels straight out of a fairy tale — Bundi Fort, Sukh Mahal, the stepwell Raniji Ki Baori, the 84-Pillared Cenotaph, and the pretty Jait Sagar Lake. Return to Kota for the night.
Head to Pushkar, Rajasthan's holy city known for its camel fair. Visit the sacred Pushkar Lake and the rare Brahma Temple, one of the few dedicated to the creator god in the world.
Drive to Jaipur, the Pink City. Rest up at your hotel, then dive into its lively bazaars for some shopping if you're up for it.
A full day exploring Jaipur — ride up to Amber Fort on elephant-back, then visit the City Palace, Jantar Mantar observatory, and the honeycomb façade of Hawa Mahal. Evening free for markets and local flavors.
Take a slow morning walk through Jaipur's streets before setting off for Mandawa, tucked in the Shekhawati region.
Explore Mandawa's famous havelis, their walls covered in centuries-old frescoes, along with Mandawa Fort and Castle. Later, drive back to Delhi for your final overnight stay.
Time to say goodbye. Our team will transfer you to the airport for your flight home, with two weeks of Taj Mahal and Rajasthan memories in tow.
