This 8-day journey with Dream Safar takes you from the pine slopes of Narkanda through the villages of Kinnaur, into the high desert of Spiti, and back down through Manali. Expect dramatic mountain roads, ancient monasteries, star-filled skies and some of the highest villages in the world.

Arrive at Chandigarh and get picked up by our team. Drive to Narkanda, stopping along the way at Shimla's Mall Road and Kufri. Overnight in Narkanda.
After breakfast, head to Sangla Valley and on to Chitkul, one of the most scenic and remote villages in the region. Walk along the Baspa River, visit the local temple, and soak in views right up to the border. Overnight in Sangla Valley.
A long, spectacular drive today via the high-altitude Nako Lake before reaching Tabo, known for its thousand-year-old monastery. Overnight in Tabo.
Visit Tabo Monastery before hitting the road again on the legendary Hindustan-Tibet Highway. Stop at Dhankar, perched dramatically on a cliff, then continue to Kaza. Overnight in Kaza.
A full day exploring Spiti's highest villages — Hikkim (home to the world's highest post office), Komic, and Langza, famous for its giant Buddha statue and fossil trails. Overnight in Kaza.
Drive to Manali via the stunning Chandratal Lake, through the Atal Tunnel, and past Solang Valley. Overnight in Manali.
Explore Manali at leisure — Hidimba Temple, Vashisht Temple, the Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar and the Mall Road. Overnight in Manali.
After breakfast, drive back to Chandigarh for your onward journey home.
