Escape the city and lose yourself in the misty hills of Lonavala and the strawberry valleys of Mahabaleshwar. This 5-day trip mixes easy trekking, old forts, quiet lakes, and some of Maharashtra’s best sunset points — perfect for friends, couples, or family looking for a proper hill break without the rush.
Prices may vary based on travel dates, hotel availability, and season.
Head out early from Mumbai and reach Lonavala in about 2-3 hours, with a breakfast stop at Khandala Viewpoint on the way. After check-in, spend the afternoon at Bhushi Dam and pick up some local chikki from Lonavala Market. Catch the sunset at Lion's Point before heading back for dinner and overnight stay.
Post breakfast, set off for Tiger's Leap and Rajmachi Fort for some stunning Western Ghats views. After lunch, trek up to Lohagad Fort (around 2-3 hours). Wind down the evening at Pawna Lake with some boating. Overnight stay in Lonavala.
After breakfast, drive down to Mahabaleshwar (roughly 5 hours). Check in, have lunch, and spend the afternoon at Venna Lake for boating and horse rides. Explore the local market for souvenirs, then catch the sunset at Arthur's Seat or Wilson Point. Overnight stay in Mahabaleshwar.
Start the day at Mapro Garden for fresh strawberries and jams, followed by a visit to the historic Pratapgad Fort. After lunch, cover the popular viewpoints — Elephant's Head Point, Monkey Point, and Lingmala Waterfall. Evening free to relax at the hotel.
Check out after breakfast and begin the drive back to Mumbai (around 6 hours), with an optional stop at Panchgani Table Land for photos. Reach Mumbai by evening, wrapping up a trip full of hills, forts, and sunsets.
