Arrive and check into your hotel, with the afternoon free to rest. By evening, head to the Wagah Border to witness the famous flag-lowering ceremony — a display of coordinated drill and patriotic fervour performed daily by Indian and Pakistani forces just before sunset. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple, one of the holiest Sikh shrines and a sight that stays with you long after you leave. Continue to Jallianwala Bagh, the memorial site of the 1919 massacre, followed by Ram Bagh, home to Maharaja Ranjit Singh's summer palace museum. Later, transfer out for your onward journey.
