Land in Guwahati and settle into your hotel. In the evening, soak in the culture at Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra before an overnight stay in the city.
After breakfast, drive to Shillong, Meghalaya's capital. Stop at Umiam Lake for photos or a bit of water sport fun. Check into your hotel, then head out in the evening to Don Bosco Museum to explore the culture of the Northeast.
A full day exploring Cherrapunji, the second-wettest place on Earth. Visit Mawphlang Sacred Grove, a forest thick with orchids and butterflies, then continue to Cherrapunji's dramatic waterfalls and caves. Return to Shillong for the night.
Drive to Mawlynnong village to walk the iconic Living Root Bridge. Then head to Dawki, known for its clear river and adventure camps. Return to Shillong by evening.
