Manipur is one of India’s best-kept secrets — a valley ringed by green hills, floating islands, and stories of war and royalty that most travellers never get to hear. This 5-day trip takes you through Imphal’s markets and monuments, out to the surreal floating national park at Loktak Lake, and all the way to the India-Myanmar border for a slice of adventure you won’t find on the usual tourist trail.
Good to know: Rates aren’t valid from 19th–26th October and 20th December–5th January. An Inner Line Permit is mandatory for entry into Manipur — please share 2 passport-size photos and ID/address proof per traveller at least 10 working days in advance for processing.
Package offered by Dream Safar. Prices may vary based on travel dates, hotel availability, and seasonal demand.
Land at Imphal Airport, where our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Imphal.
After breakfast, head out for a full day of sightseeing — Kangla Fort and Museum, Govindajee Temple, Mahabali Temple, the Imphal Museum, the Second World War Cemeteries, and the all-women IMA Market. Overnight stay in Imphal.
Spend the day at Loktak Lake and Sendra Island, then visit Keibul Lamjao National Park, home to the endangered Sangai deer and its floating "phumdi" landscape. Continue to the INA Museum, Loukoi Pat picnic spot, and the Japanese War Memorial at Red Hill before returning to Imphal.
An early start takes you to Moreh, right on the Myanmar border, with a stop at Tengnoupal for sweeping mountain views and the WWII battle site at Shenam Saddle. Cross over into Tamu (Myanmar) to explore its market and monastery, and enjoy an authentic Burmese meal before driving back to Imphal in the evening.
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Imphal Airport for your onward journey.
