Assam’s wild side is calling. This short getaway takes you deep into Kaziranga National Park, home to the mighty one-horned rhino, and closes with a peaceful visit to the sacred Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati. Perfect for a long weekend when you want jungle mornings and temple evenings, without a long itinerary to manage.
Prices may vary with travel dates, hotel availability, and season.
Land at Guwahati airport or railway station, where our driver will be waiting to take you straight to Kaziranga. Check in, settle down, and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
An early start today — head out for an elephant safari through the park at sunrise, one of the best ways to spot the rhino up close. Return for breakfast, then head back out in the afternoon for a jeep safari, followed by a relaxed visit to Kaziranga Orchid Park. Overnight stay at Kaziranga.
(Note: Elephant and jeep safaris are managed by the Assam Forest Department and subject to availability. Kaziranga National Park remains closed from May onwards.)
After breakfast, drive back towards Guwahati, stopping en route at the Maha Mritunjay Temple in Nagaon. Check in at your Guwahati hotel. If you'd like, end the day with an optional sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (payable directly, not included). Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Start the day with a visit to the Kamakhya Temple (open 8 AM–1 PM and 3 PM till dusk). Afterwards, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. (Depending on your departure time, this visit may be adjusted to Day 3 evening.)
