Board the Saraighat Express from Howrah in the afternoon, and settle in for an overnight journey towards Guwahati.
Arrive in Guwahati by mid-morning and check in to your hotel. Post lunch, visit the Balaji Temple and Guwahati Zoo before returning for a relaxed evening.
Start early with a visit to the sacred Kamakhya Temple, then head back for breakfast and check-out. Drive towards Kaziranga, arriving by noon, and settle in for an overnight stay near the park.
Rise early for a Jeep or Elephant Safari through Kaziranga's grasslands (safari cost payable directly). After breakfast, drive to Shillong, reaching by noon. The rest of the day is free to explore at leisure.
A full day covering Shillong's popular spots — lakes, viewpoints, and local attractions. In the evening, take a stroll around Police Bazaar and Shillong's main market area.
With a packed lunch in hand, head out to Cherrapunji for the day — waterfalls, caves, and living root bridges await. Return to Shillong by evening for an overnight stay.
After lunch, drive back to Guwahati. In the evening, transfer to the railway station and board the Kanchanjunga Express bound for Sealdah.
Reach Sealdah station in the evening, carrying home memories of the hills and the wild.
