Land in Guwahati and settle in. In the evening, visit Kamakhya Temple and take a relaxed cruise along the Brahmaputra as the sun goes down.
Drive to Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy a jeep safari followed by an elephant ride through the grasslands, keeping an eye out for the one-horned rhino and other wildlife.
Head towards Shillong, the "Scotland of the East." On the way, stop at Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak for sweeping valley views.
Full day of waterfall-hopping — Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sisters Falls — plus a walk through Mawsmai Caves and the living root bridges nearby.
Visit Mawlynnong, often called Asia's cleanest village, then reach Dawki for a boat ride on the Umngot River's glass-clear water.
A long, scenic drive through Bomdila towards Tawang, winding through valleys and past small monasteries along the way.
Explore Tawang Monastery, followed by visits to Madhuri Lake and Sangetsar Lake, some of the most peaceful spots in Arunachal Pradesh.
Head back towards Guwahati for your onward journey home.
