Land in Madurai and check into your hotel. Spend the day visiting the Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal, Gandhi Museum, and the Azhagar Temple at Alagar Koil. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Drive to Rameshwaram, crossing the Pamban Bridge on the way. Visit the Ramanathaswamy Temple, take a holy dip at Agni Theertham, and pay tribute at the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Memorial. Later, head to Dhanushkodi Beach and the last point, where the sea has swallowed an old town. Overnight stay in Rameshwaram.
After breakfast, drive down to Kanyakumari. Check into your hotel and spend the evening at the Sunset View Point, followed by a walk along Kanyakumari Beach and a visit to Gandhi Mandapam. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.
Wake up early for the sunrise, one of the best views in India. Take the ferry to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar Statue, then visit the Bhagavathy Amman Temple. After sightseeing, drive back to Madurai for your onward journey home.
